3 STEPS TO HIGHER IELTS SCORE

Every single language around the globe is unique. A language comes with words, sentences, paragraphs, essays, research papers, and not only that, but also how it’s spoken, written and the way ideas are conveyed, formal or informal and so on.

Think of it this way, every human has their own way to express themselves, own body language and unique reasoning and use of their own language words, however, language experts agreed on the common rules & frameworks on which a proper language can be written, spoken, read and listened to, and here comes the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

3 Easy Steps for Higher IELTS Score

  1. Test Familiarization
  2. Study Planner
  3. Practice

1. Test Familiarization

Duration: 3 hours per day for 5 days or until you are sure about everything

In the beginning, you just need to familiarize yourself with everything around the test, its sections, duration of each section, scoring and how it’s calculated, difference between the IELTS Academic and General, know what’s required from you, what scores needed for which educational institution, just know everything you can about your IELTS test.

2. Study Planner

Duration: 30-60 minutes

Head over to Road to IELTS, The British Council official practice platform. It’s essential you are able to have an idea of how many hours you will need before you are confident enough to go for the test, there is a minimum time needed for each skill (listening, reading, writing, speaking).

you can view the planner below. Last to do, is to organize your schedule and know when and where you shall prepare and practice, this is the most important part.

3- Practice, Practice, Practice

IELTS test is a test like all other tests you’ve taken before, they all need preparation, practice and efforts, nothing good comes easy!

in this step, you have to start practicing, and there are several ways to do so:

  1. do the road to IELTS practice plan – comes with purchase but proven results!
  2. go for an IELTS Intensive Preparation Course with the British Council, thanks to the online new program. check your own country’s council website for further details.
  3. read online IELTS test experts, one of the best ones you’d ever find and I will save your time is Ieltsliz.com.

feeling confident after all, go and book your test, I wish you all the best of luck!

It’s worth saying that, IELTS preparation took me 15 days only before I took my test, during the 15 days, I have concluded an IELTS Intensive Online Course with the British Council, in the meanwhile, I joined the Road to IELTS online practice platform, a real experience similar to the actual computer delivered test.

Goodluck!

Privacy threat – beyond #Faceapp – ch2

Sure you are one of the 120 million users who downloaded #FaceApp and seen your future self 30 years to come!

so what is just behind the picture of your future self that poses a privacy alert to over 120 million users around the globe.

The application now holds over 120 million fresh faces all over the universe, this can be used to improve the functionality of the app #AI (Artificial Intelligence) and be extended for use for facial recognition.

although some tech savvies say it can’t be used for facial recognition, to what extent we are sure the beholders of such massive data are not intending to outgrow the mass data gathered!

in my imaginable world, the Russian-made-based application is now receiving offers to sell the mass data from various intelligence entities from around the globe, the mass data is potentially to be used to improve the (CCTV) surveillance systems in the most app used countries….yeah, just fresh data! Facebook is getting old now!

later on, the #FaceApp was able to develop a facial recognition signature that would infiltrate personal access to valuable information through unlocking the facial signature! who knows!

Or, sell the data to airport immigration surveillance to identify and stamp the last visited country (last time used\country of download) so it can be matched with the visa stamps on the passport! who knows!

Today, the mass is slowly waking up to a privacy threat although still being numb to all privacy threats but pleasure!

#FaceApp has given themselves the right to use your own data for their own best use, and you have given them permission ALREADY!

on the privacy statements before you download the app, it reads!

5. How can I delete my data?

Just deleting the app won’t get rid of the photos FaceApp may have in the cloud. “For the fastest processing, we recommend sending the requests from the FaceApp mobile app using ‘Settings->Support->Report a bug’ with the word ‘privacy’ in the subject line. We are working on the better UI [user interface] for that,” :- referenced.
