3 STEPS TO HIGHER IELTS SCORE

Every single language around the globe is unique. A language comes with words, sentences, paragraphs, essays, research papers, and not only that, but also how it’s spoken, written and the way ideas are conveyed, formal or informal and so on.

Think of it this way, every human has their own way to express themselves, own body language and unique reasoning and use of their own language words, however, language experts agreed on the common rules & frameworks on which a proper language can be written, spoken, read and listened to, and here comes the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

3 Easy Steps for Higher IELTS Score

  1. Test Familiarization
  2. Study Planner
  3. Practice

1. Test Familiarization

Duration: 3 hours per day for 5 days or until you are sure about everything

In the beginning, you just need to familiarize yourself with everything around the test, its sections, duration of each section, scoring and how it’s calculated, difference between the IELTS Academic and General, know what’s required from you, what scores needed for which educational institution, just know everything you can about your IELTS test.

2. Study Planner

Duration: 30-60 minutes

Head over to Road to IELTS, The British Council official practice platform. It’s essential you are able to have an idea of how many hours you will need before you are confident enough to go for the test, there is a minimum time needed for each skill (listening, reading, writing, speaking).

you can view the planner below. Last to do, is to organize your schedule and know when and where you shall prepare and practice, this is the most important part.

3- Practice, Practice, Practice

IELTS test is a test like all other tests you’ve taken before, they all need preparation, practice and efforts, nothing good comes easy!

in this step, you have to start practicing, and there are several ways to do so:

  1. do the road to IELTS practice plan – comes with purchase but proven results!
  2. go for an IELTS Intensive Preparation Course with the British Council, thanks to the online new program. check your own country’s council website for further details.
  3. read online IELTS test experts, one of the best ones you’d ever find and I will save your time is Ieltsliz.com.

It’s worth saying that, IELTS preparation took me 15 days only before I took my test, during the 15 days, I have concluded an IELTS Intensive Online Course with the British Council, in the meanwhile, I joined the Road to IELTS online practice platform, a real experience similar to the actual computer delivered test.

Goodluck!
